Wrestling Tryouts / Practice Info
Wrestling’s pre-check in to confirm all documents are submitted and students are academically eligible will be Monday, November 3rd and Friday, November 7th at 2:15PM. Please report to the training room hallway near the weight room.
Practice begins Monday, November 10th in the auxiliary gym in the back of the school near the weight room. (2:30 – 4:30PM)
- Practices on normal non-match days will normally be from 2:30 – 4:30PM, and some “gas tank” Tuesdays will be 2:30 – 5:30PM. First week we will practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. (10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th)
- We usually don’t make any cuts unless absolutely necessary. If you continue coming and don’t have three unexcused absences you are on the team.
- Girls Wrestling New VHSL Sport: Will take girls to their own events / tournaments as well on top of JV Jamborees.

Important Info / Links:

- Equipment to have for practice include athletic clothes, wrestling shoes, running shoes, headgear, mouthpiece (braces), and a water bottle (put orders in now if missing so you have them for the season).

Boys Basketball Tryouts Info:
Basketball’s pre-check in to confirm all documents are submitted and students are academically eligible will be Wednesday, November 5th at 2:15PM. Please report to the training room hallway near the weight room.
BASKETBALL SEASON BEGINS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10th. NOVEMBER 11TH THERE IS NO SCHOOL BUT STILL TRYOUTS. Any questions can be directed to Coach Powers (PowersJM@PWCS.EDU).
Times for the FIRST 3 DAYS of practice in the gym will be:
- Varsity: MON 4-6 PM/ TUES 10AM-12PM/ WED 4-6 pm
- JV: MON 2:30-4PM/ TUES 12-2PM/ WED 2:30- 4pm
- Freshmen: MON 2:30-4PM/ TUES 12-2PM/ WED 2:30-4pm
- Players who are selected for a team will receive a calendar with practice times for the entire season.
