Football Tryouts + Summer Workout Info
Tryouts begin Friday, August 1st for JV / Varsity and Monday, August 4th for Freshman. 

• Athlete pre-check in for all teams will be July 24 @ 10:30AM right as summer workouts end. (Checking physicals, concussion training, and academic eligibility with AD / Athletic Trainer)
• Senior / Returning Starter Equipment Handout = July 28 @ 10:45AM.
• Junior / Sophomore Equipment Handout = July 29 @ 10:45AM.
• Makeup Equipment Handout For 10th – 12th Grade = July 31 @ 10:45AM.
• Freshman will receive equipment the first day of tryouts.

• Join our Band app group for up to date announcements and schedule. (https://band.us/n/a0a2Adx4f6f2u)
• Summer workouts start Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings (8:30 – 10:30AM) the week after school ends (June 16th, weight room in the back of the school). Bring tennis shoes, cleats, and water. NO CROCS / OPEN TOE SHOES
• Registration and all required documents must be uploaded to participate in tryouts. Registration Website (upload physical and required documents) = https://students.arbitersports.com/organizations/gainesville-high-school
• Equipment to have for tryouts include cleats, tennis / running shoes, personal water bottle, mouthpiece, and 7 padded girdle, and combination lock for the locker room.
