Girls Basketball:

Wrestling (Boys + Girls):
Boys and Girls wrestling practice will begin daily on Nov. 9th from 2:30 – 4:30PM in the auxiliary gym (near the weight room in the back of the school) . On “Gas Tank Tuesdays” (when we don’t compete on Monday / Wednesday), we will go from 2:30 – 5:30PM. Please use the Wrestling Google Calendar Link to see when we will practice / compete, and it will automatically update as anything changes.
We do not make cuts. If you stick with us and don’t have three unexcused absences, you are on the team. If team ends up being too large for the wrestling room, we will adjust to having separate JV and Varsity / #2’s practice times. Our parent meeting and final wrestle offs to set the initial varsity starters / depth charts at each weight will be Nov. 30th in the main gym from 6:00 – 9:00PM.

TRYOUTS
Swim tryouts will be Nov 9, Nov 10, and Nov 12 from 6:00-7:00 at the PWCS Aquatics Center (Colgan High School)

GHS Indoor Track & Field Tryouts
- Dates: Mon 11/9 – Fri 11/13
- Location: GHS Stadium
- Times: 2:30-4:30pm
- Required paperwork: all athletes MUST have completed their Arbiter registration, including uploading their VHSL Physical, prior to trying out.
- Fill out this Interest Survey/Tryout Signup before coming to tryouts
- What to bring: Running shoes, long sleeves and long pants, water, snacks (spikes optional)
- Team Rules & Expectations (2025-26) – these will be similar to this year’s; if you will not be able to abide by these rules and expectations, please do not come to tryouts.
